The Bolt Assembly has an Electroless Nickel Finish With Teflon Impregnation. This is a superior coating with a very low coefficient of friction designed for lubricity, anti galling, release & friction resistance. The Bolt Assembly works like a well-oiled Machine but you don’t need the Oil. You know how much oil is these days! They are designed to run dry. Also, the bolts are made from 4140 steel and before they are heat treated the bolt face is polished, rounding every corner that come in contact with the shell. This has improved function and makes it possible to not have any break-in period whatsoever. They are simply ready to go.
Designed to work with any AR-15 mil-spec upper receiver. This bolt assembly is used with Velocity's M4 Barrel (Item # AR-127)
