AR .22 Long Rifle

AR15 / M16 A3 .22 LONG RIFLE with 16" M4 contour barrel and A3 Carbon Fiber Upper receiver. The upper receiver has a polymer binder for added strength. This .22 long rifle barrel is 16" long, threaded the standard 1/2 x 28 tpi, and has an A2 flash hider with the correct crush washer. The upper is Mil-Spec and will fit any Mil-Spec Lower Receiver. The barrel has a forged A2 front sight base with bayonet lug, not the cheaper cast front sight base which can break. It sports M4 contour and length hand guards with full heat shields.  The barrel, and all external steel parts, are manganese phosphate finished IAW 5.3.1.2 of Mil-STD-171, the U. S. government's recommended protective finish for steel. The Bolt Assembly has an Electroless Nickel Finish With Teflon Impregnation. This is a superior coating with a very low coefficient of friction designed for lubricity, anti galling, release & friction resistance. The Bolt Assembly works like a well-oiled Machine but you don’t need the Oil. You know how much oil is these days! They are designed to run dry. Also, the bolts are made from 4140 steel and before they are heat treated the bolt face is polished, rounding every corner that come in contact with the shell. This has improved function and makes it possible to not have any break-in period whatsoever. They are simply ready to go. The lower receiver is also a mil-spec carbon fiber with polymer binder receiver.  The trigger pull is the same as any AR-15 making this rifle ideal for practice. Save BIG MONEY ON AMMO.
